Tireless Pursuit Of Your Goals

Alabama car accidents that involve children and fatalities

Obviously, Alabama parents would be distraught to learn that their child was involved in motor vehicle collisions. This, of course, would also be true for any person suffering the untimely death of a loved one in a crash, regardless of the victim's age. Car accidents that result in injury or death typically become result in extended investigations when the causes of the incidents are not immediately apparent.

This seems to be the case following a recent accident at a dance school in Mobile. Apparently, a group of children, ages 7 and under, were in the school when a car came crashing through the building. Several of the children were injured and transported to an area medical facility for care.

Just outside the building, a 71-year-old woman was reportedly struck by the wayward vehicle before it careened through the building. Sadly, she was pronounced dead when responding officers arrived at the scene. There were also four adult occupants in the car that crashed. All were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

The details regarding what may have caused the vehicle to veer off the road remain unclear. Officers say the driver does have some sort of medical history that might have played a role in the incident, but it was also revealed that he has a history of reckless driving infractions. The parents of the injured children, and an immediate family member of the woman who was killed, may seek recourse by filing civil claims for monetary damages in civil court. Victims of similar car accidents on Alabama roadways are entitled to pursue claims for financial relief as well.
